Check out a variety of games where students can practice their typing skills! Games range from easy to difficult and can target specific rows of the keyboard or all letters. This is a great opportunity hosted by the Jackson District Library for students with special needs! There will be a storyteller and activities for all. Students will be able to use alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) with JDL Staff Members and partake in all the fun! Stations will include activities with art, science, sensory, fine motor, and water play!
Join the fun at the Meijer Branch every 2nd Saturday of the month from 1:30-2:30 pm http://bit.ly/webaimfonts
Remember to select Fonts that help improve readability! Preferred fonts for students with learning disabilities have appropriate letter spacing, large body size, high ascenders and low descenders, and notable shape differences between the letters "o, a, b, d, p, q". |
