I recently learned about some more sites for EBooks. Here are a few new links to check out! ReadWorks Great options for Article-A-Day, poetry, and more! All EBooks can be read aloud with highlighting features. StoryShares Amazing collections ranging from Historical Fiction to various Series. Includes an abundance of books for Teens. All can be read aloud with highlighting and tracking features! Common Lit Great articles and passages with guiding questions and activities! Again, all can be read aloud!

Some people may or may not know what this tool- it is a tracing wheel used for Sewing. However, in the world of Assistive Technology this little tool can be used to make raised line paper or tracing paper! Those expensive books of raised line paper no longer have to be purchased! You can find this little tool at your local Joann Fabrics, Michael's, or on Amazon for $5.99
I recently came across the Realtime captioning feature in PowerPoint and I was very impressed. Not only does PowerPoint provide you with closed captioning, you can also translate what you are speaking into another Language! Check out the Practical Ed Tech website below to find out more! Incase you didn't know, you have the closed captioning feature in Google Slides as well, but no translation feature. "The realtime captioning feature in PowerPoint has more options than the one in Google Slides. In PowerPoint you can choose where you want the captions to appear when you are presenting in full screen. You can also specify the language that you are speaking in and the language that you want the captions to appear in." Practical Ed Tech |
